  • Overview

    The HR Coordinator for Country View Farms (CVFF) position, reporting to the HR Business Partner is responsible for a variety of human resources support functions, including human resources recordkeeping systems (HRIS) and reporting, employee records, mandated pre-employment screenings, and other related areas.

     

    The position is located at Country View Farms Office in  Middletown, Pa  and supports farms and management located in Pa and Indiana.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for new hire, departure, and employee change processes. This includes:

    • Drafting all job offers and ensuring new hire paperwork is received and coordinated with corporate HR Operations for processing .
    • Tracking and communication of the pre-employment screening testing
    • Meeting new employees to explain all benefits they are eligible for, and ensuring I-9 verifications are completed accurately and timely.
    • Updating organization charts, publications and directories with employee information.
    • Maintaining all personnel files in a regular and timely manner.
    • Attendance and LOA tracking
    • Liaison between HR, payroll and compensation for communicating updates to employee compensation and benefits that impact pay.
    • Runs reports as needed for CVFF Management
    • May draft SOPs for CVFF
    • Coordinates with other departments within HR to support the needs of CVFF

    Assists with annual activities involving HR, including, but not limited to:

    • Open Enrollment process
    • Annual performance review process, salary increases and bonus payments.
    • Compliance reporting and maintenance of job postings.
    • Maintain job descriptions and other employee materials
    • Coordinate Benefit enrollment and provide assistance to all team members with benefit related problems
    • Assist with employee questions/HR issues
    • Assist in organization of company sponsored events, activities and functions
    • Provides support for various initiatives and projects throughout the department.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree; SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
    • 1 – 3 years of relevant HR experience.
    • Working knowledge of HRIS systems. Experience with UltiPro is a plus.
    • Experience with ICIMS and Kronos are a plus
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Strong proficiency in Excel is preferred.
    • Prior work experience within a high workload, fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create positive relationships across all levels.
    • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
    • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidential information.
    • No travel required other than occasionally to the Corporate Headquarters located in Hatfield Pa for training.
